Several years ago I bought a RVQ BBQ by Vatco on a group buy thru here. It
came with a BBQ, an extension hose and some kind of brass connector that may
go on the propane tank.
Does anyone have a diagram on how this bolts together? Based on the parts I
have ..well there just seems there is not enough parts to make it work.

Use an Extend A Stay after the coach regulator, remove the regulator from
the BBQ and install a propane quick disconnect fitting on that end of your
hose, and what ever fitting fits the Extend A Stay aux outlet. It should
work with no problems. A few years back I sold several portable BBQs to
Canadien folks and they had no problems.

Len,
I bought one too, however, it was too small for my needs and I got a larger one and sold the RVQ.
I don't remember what came with it.
Take a photograph of the hose and the connector and send it to:
robmueller at iinet dot net dot au
I'll figger out what goes where and let you know.

Len,
That was a Vitco RVQ and you most likely got it from me if you did the
group purchase thing. The brass Extend-A-Stay connector goes on the feed
line from on the propane tank AFTER the regulator. Then quick
the disconnect attaches to the Extend-A-Stay, then attach the hose to the
Extend-A-Stay, that is the length of your choice, which is attached to
RVQ. Note, the RVQ regulator is removed and the hose is permanently
attached to the fitting the RVQ regulator was attached to.

You are right Len. My apologies. It's been so long I forgot how I hooked
it up. I hooked up the extend a stay before the regulator and used the
regulator on the RVQ. Instead of drilling holes in the coach and mounting
the extrusion, I modified it so it could be suspended from the rear
ladder. One end of the supply hose had the mating screw on fitting that
fits the Extend-A -Stay fitting, the other end (rVQ end) had the quick
disconnect. Here's a phot of my GMC propane supply line.

Steve,
I took the coach to the local propane shop and just said "fix it" since the
gauge on the tank and on the inside panel always read full.
All new fittings on the tank, got the BBQ fittings attached and when he
removed the sending unit it seems the float was stuck against the side of
the tank. Both the tank and inside gauge read correctly. The screws
holding the sending unit were never sealed from that factory, fixed that
also.
About $60 in parts and another $60 in labor.
Not bad at all.
