I recently saw an advertisement in a Popular Mechanics magazine for an Envi wall mounted heater that runs on 120 volts. Has anyone used one in their coach? The size and blower less design makes me wonder if it would work well in the coach when plugged into a pedestal. After a rather chilly night last year at the Amana Colonies, I like the idea of a relatively inexpensive, clean heat source that shouldn't set anything on fire or create any carbon monoxide.

A 1500W electric heater will produce about 5,000 BTUs per hour. It will pull 12.5 amps at 120VAC.

Hi, I put one of those Envi in the main bathroom in our home. It does an OK
job of heating the bathroom but no way would it keep our 23 warm on a cold
night. I would suggest a Pelonis ceramic cube heater
http://www.pelonis.com/ceramic.htm. We have had the same one for 20 years in
a variety of trailers and coaches. A bit pricey but dead reliable and pretty
quiet for a heater with a fan.

Thanks,
