Some years ago I disconnected the wires to the Onan voltage regulator as
recommended by Duane Simmons. I am now using the Onan regularly but am
not running the coach engine and the small battery I'm using to start
the Onan gets discharged. If I understand this correctly I need to
reinstall the wire(s) back on to the voltage regulator in order to have
the Onan charge the Onan starting battery.

The problem I have is that although the double wire terminal has an ID
tag on it the corresponding terminal tag has apparently been
obliterated and now I need some help in getting this (or these) wires
re-connected. There is a wire laying on top along side the double wire
but it is not connected and it looks to be too short to reach the
voltage regulator so I don't think it was ever connected.

If someone out there can help me with this I sure will appreciate it.

If you have a 75, the Onan bat is the house bat and should charge from the 120v AC to 14v DC convereter or buzz box if plug is in at the gen outlet. Has yours been reverse modified?
