G'day,

Just got my weekly specials from AdventureRV and they have a 30 Amp Power Outlet with 30A Circuit Breaker in a single enclosure for

Rainproof enclosure features unique cover design which allows cord to be used when door is closed. Safe and easy to install. 30A,
120V, TT-30R NEMA receptacle, 30A-1 Pole circuit protection. 9-1/2"H x 5-3/8"W x 4-3/4"D.

Rob,
There's a guy who occasionally sells the real deal RV outlets on Ebay.
30A + 20A outlets with separate breakers, and the typical flip up lid that
closes and shelters the RV hook up from the elements. I bought one and
installed it so now I have hookups for my MH, plus 30A for two others.

When I decided to have power put in for
RVs at the house, I bought my "stuff" at
Home Depot. I wanted it done "right" so
hired an electrician to do the work.

I bought two exterior boxes; one with a
single 30 Amp 125V receptacle and the
other with a 50 Amp 250V (125-0-125)
receptacle (NO BREAKERS EXPOSE TO WEATHER).

The appropriate breakers (single 30A and
double 40A) were added to the house entry
panel; enabling shut off from indoors. No
always hot power outside.

Since I also have a manual total disconnect
switch already outside the garage to choose
between power company and an 8 KW generator
to keep things running during a power failure,
that option also works for the RV outlets.

Money Pit fits on the driveway (mostly) and
is powered all the time. When Rob Mueller
visited last year, I moved my coach to the
street during his stay and he powered up
just fine. It was only for three days, so
having my coach on the street didn't bring
any hate and disconnect from neighbors. A
short term visitor with only 125V service
could also hook up during a stay.

JWID.
