I got tired of the 'randim misfire' code on my little truck, so I ran a compression check this morning.  '05 Ford 3 liter in a Ranger Edge.  High to low: 135 133 120 100 60 30.  At this point I got all the dreck off the top of the engine, ready to pull the bottom half of the manifold.  I'll get a #50 Torx bit tomorrow and if the exhaust bolts let go, have the heads off tomorrow afternoon, they'll go to Slack for rework Monday.  After the GMC, the diesel VW, and my '65 Dart project, what a bunch of wires and sensors the new stuff has on it.  Took an hour to unhook and unplug and get the engine wiring harness out of the way.  I guiess it's due, I've put 97,000 miles on it since I bought it - 155K total.  I aim for 250, I like the little truck and they don't make them any more.
