As a Fiero and GMC M/H fan, that's darn tempting, and doesn't look like a bad deal at that price. Be a little curious how they handled the rear suspension & axle shafts. If done well, it would be a blast to drive!

Scary fast. I purchased a TH425 from a guy who was going to do the same idea into a Vega. The money gave out.

I reckon the weight of the Fiero reduces the stress on the axles. According to Wikipedia a Fiero weighs 2,590 to 2,790 lb. Lets say
the Caddy weighs 300 lb more than that making 3,090. Comparing that to a GMC that weighs 12,500 and you come up with 9410 lbs.

Rob,
Definitely if they used Cad/Olds sized shafts all the way out to the hubs they'd be fine. Hard to tell from the pictures, but I think they may have Fiero hubs (or at least bolt pattern) on it. And, if so, that transition might get tricky, since my Fiero tread width is about 15" narrower than the motorhomes. It could have some interesting angularity there, at least in jounce and rebound. Although, it wouldn't have to deal with steering angles on the rear wheels. Plus, I suppose cars like that see even fewer miles than GMC motorhomes, so if you avoid excessive burnouts, it might last a long time. Weight distribution would be pretty good, and it should drive fine, and be pretty easily controllable, with enough tire.
I haven't driven one, but there's a guy in Illinois, V8 Archie who has sold thousands of kits to put small block Chevy's in them, and has done several hundred in his own shop. They often use Fiero transmissions and axle shafts, and at least run for a while. The 425 is way stouter than a MG-282 5 speed. And, there is something that just seems cooler with the longitudinal packaging.

You know I did not see if in fact its Eldo hubs or not cause those wheels look kinda flat.
Its also kinda weird how to me the motorhome seems narrow and my Eldo seems wider. But we all know those motorhome propellor shafts are Way longer and there is also no Tortional Damper,so the tire burns on the ground and the final drive take up the slack I guess whilst turning?
