My bathroom faucet is the original and the diverter doesn't divert but about 30%. Way more water runs out the faucet than gets to the shower which REALLY fills up the black water tank needlessly.

All the RV faucets with diverters I've run across have the shower wand hose coming out of top of the faucet.

Does anyone make a replacement faucet OEM style? If not, what is the solution for a wet bath? Install a separate faucet for the shower?

Dumb question - Can you repair the old one?

Kerry,

At times, JimK has been able to source original styles. Also, Sirum -- but they show sold out now.
As for separate faucets... here is one approach,

I disassembled and cleaned mine - it was doing the same thing - and it works great now. The original is a really good quality faucet so it is worth trying if you have not tried.

I did take mine apart, cleaned it, and replaced the O rings. No change. I haven't removed it from the coach yet because it's such a pain to get to. If I can find a drop in replacement, I'd prefer to just buy one and do the swap one time. Otherwise I'll probably do the separate valve like Dennis showed.

I replaced my bathroom sink faucet with the one shown in the first link below. It does not have a diverter so I used a single lever control as shown in the second link below. This provides added features, faucet pivots & extends, water temperature control is much superior with single lever. Much improved over the OEM fixtures. Bought the new items from one of the big box stores.

Check the shower head first. Sand clogs the fine holes in the telephone style handset. Mine is better than most hotel showers now. Also be sure the pause knob on the handset is wide open.

Jim Bounds showed us how he works around it.
On the wall on the shower , he mounts a wall mount unit with hot and cold
and a fitting for the shower .
So it is dedicated for shower only and you plug off the diverter and t in
to the hot and cold.
Should you need assistance on parts, we can help, also if you need
clarification, call and ask for me as I do not charge for running my mouth.
