It is in Vancouver WA. Across the river from Portland.

I could go look if anyone in interested. I suspect transportation costs might limit buyers to the local area.

It would be interesting to see if it is as much of a basket case as it looks in the picture.

My last coach purchase looked just as bad in pictures when I bought it. It took 3 days work, but I drove it home.

I am going to be in oregon the end of February. I might want to just look it over for the entertainment factor if it is still around then.

Looks to be missing the airbag and the wheel.

I THINK I can make out the front boogie behind the weeds. Most likely the brake drum is sitting on the ground.

As high as it appears to be setting in the front - I would question whether the engine is all there (or there at all! Very Happy
However if not, it could make an interesting trailer behind someones PB. Cool

There are wooden blocks under the frame where it doubles with the front clip. While this explains the front being "high" it doesn't necessarily mean there is a motor in it. The "Nearly All Complete !!!" would normally mean a motor... or at least a block.

I might be able to put eyes on it next week. I could take and post pictures if there is any interest.

I have talked with the owner of this $800 basket case coach. Seems he has three GMC's. This incomplete one, a "keeper" and one other complete "runner" for sale. (I assume he means it is a complete coach.) All seem to be 26 foot coaches... even if he called one a 27.

I am wanting to look at something else to buy in the same area, but not getting any call backs on that. When I do, I'll look at both for sale coaches, take and post some pictures. I might even be able to find out what "Nearly All Complete !!!" realy means. Rolling Eyes

Just in case the add goes away:

I was half wrong....

There is a forward boogie, but it is cut off before the spindle. I wonder why someone would cut a boogie in half. Confused

Looking at this coach I find it interesting what some think "Nearly All Complete" means. Laughing

Anyway, this coach DOES have a motor. The motor is missing some parts. The carb for sure and manifold... maybe??? (I thought I took a picture of it.... not in my camera now.) The coach has nice body, no damage to the aluminum and only a little to the fiber glass. (near the furnace vents.) I think with a wash and buff, the paint wouldn't look to bad. (Not that I can think of why ANYONE would want to do that!)

It is TZE166V101862 (making it a 1976 by the TZE, not a '77) and most of the interior parts are trashed. Very little inside has NOT been damaged by water. It has a "home brew" dash that looks like a prototype of the rounded Mac dash.

Like most "parts coaches" there are a few good parts... and the owner says he'll sell parts. See the ad for a phone number.

His "closest to usable" coach is heavily modified 1976 (TZE166V101308) that will be for sale as soon as he gets it resembled. I'll start a new thread on it.

He also has an '78 Eleganza II (TZE168V101604) that he is planning on stripping and completely redoing. Some of his plans sound... interesting. But as long as he likes the result!
Twisted Evil

thanks Mike.

Always fun to look at, but sad to see what is really out there.

I can always show these to my wife to prove the deal I got on my palm beach.

I do not see any parts on there I could use and get on the plane for the trip home.
