In the top right mpst of us will see:
"Join or Sign In to the Mecum InfoNet to see the Sold Price"
But as you seem to have been logged in, and have let us know the price, we do not have to join an additional website.
Thanks!

The Silver, and Meecum auctions have cars that sell for very realistic
prices. The market is horribly down right now so a lot of those cars are
being sold far below the grand theft prices that the "other" auction gets.
What you don't see at many of those auctions is many of those cars are
bought back by their owners, who, would rather have the car than the small
percentage of their investment.

I think if you did a survey, most buyers and sellers in those auctions are not there to make money, the batmobile and the green moster went for good money but the rest of it if sold to someone other than the owners just making the cost of going to the auction not a desaster -- the cehicle sold for far less than the capital investment. Guys, it's the same way with our GMC's. You have this thing because you WANT IT! Anyone who tells you any investment that has blow up tires is a money making investment just smack them once in the nose and run away! Never confuse a financial investment with an investment in your sanity.

I have to disagree a little. That is part of the reason I have and drive the old stuff. You
will never lose if done properly.I got my wife a 67 Camaro for $5k.A nice 6 cyl 3 sp
on the floor with deluxe interior and RS option. She drove everyday for 9 years. No garage so it was in the snow and everything. It was still real nice when we sold it for $6500.I got my car for $2900.I been in it for almost 10 years now ,its 45 years old
and I turned down $6000 the other day. Also the other day out to dinner in the UAV
a man offered me $8000 out of the blue.I paid $4500 a few months back for it.Also most of the classic car dealers have automatic buyback now.Let's say you buy a 67 Fastback Mustang for $20000.Drive it around and have fun for a few years and bring it back and they will give you $20000 on trade in for another classic as the value goes
up on the car if its in the relative same condition you bring it back in.Plus its so simple to drive and maintain a pre 1979 as it was mostly the same since 1898.
