Seven steel wheels from Southwest Wheel, item number 29587. It's a 16 inch
wheel with a 4.56 (4 and 9/16) hole and an 8 lug 6.5 inch bolt circle.
http://www.southwestwheel.com/store/p-1835-29587.aspx
It'll run about $720 for the wheels and another $110 for FedEx ground.
I'm on a budget or I would get pretty alloy rims from JimK. I'll be putting
in an order for some Onan exhaust parts as well.
Tires will be Walmart due not because of their stellar quality, but because
of the fact that there's always a Walmart around.
This weekend I will put at least the Royale, and possibly the Palm Beach up
on the jack stands I built.

Robin,
I clicked on the link and noted that the photo is of a wheel with a domed center section.
Before I bought them I would suggest you send them an email advising that you intend to put these wheels on a GMC motorhome and in
order for them to clear the front wheel brake calipers the center section of the wheel must be domed.
Ask them to confirm that they are domed and not angled.

I understand going to the smaller aftermarket alcoa wheel, but why not just stay
with stockers until all out shine.there is a plethura of tire choices in 16 but still
a handful of choices in 16.5.Or do you have a couple that are bent?

Nobody I know of but Firestone stil makes 16.5 tires - and they know it, and they are VERY proud of them.

I thought I posted before somewhere but I just got 8 tires 6 of them mounted and balanced at Pep-Boys for $84 a tire. They are 16.5 Futura Scrambler, made in us by cooper.Load D 2500lbs per tire at 65 psi There also is plenty chinese that are not
too,too bad either like a Road King or Power King those are E load almost 3500lbs
per tire and are more like $99. But the Tranceforce seems to be the one that most
like the best at $150 a tire so yes it is expensive.I should get a few years out of them
and hopefully by then I can afford Aluminum wheels and I really want a Visor!!!!

IIRC: One of Robin's coaches did not come with any wheels at all!
