I'm finally getting to it and trying to get some things done.
Right now I'm looking at adding a vacuum gauge and a tachometer. There is a
combination gauge Tac Vac that fits between the other two gauges and goes
for around $300. Has anyone bought and installed one of these? How is it
working? Anybody have a different suggestion?
Thanks

A few years back Bill in Ohio put together a group buy on them so lots of people bought and installed them.
Jim K sells them now.

Same here.
I don't where I pick it up.
Helped my neighbor rewire his horse trailer today.
Nice earthy smell under the trailer.
Explained again using the water, pipes, pump and bucket idea.
One more guy who has a better idea of how electricity flowed from his pickup to his trailer.

A lot more fun to work on then a 20 plus year old horse trailer.

I'm still amazed when the owner of a local auto shop asks me to explain a relay in a wiring diagram. Or explain parallel and series to one of the technicians.

Get the harness to wire up your Volvo.
I wish you where closer
I would give you ours.
We saved it after selling our last Volvo
It's plug and play EZ-PZ

I was one of those kids who was constantly taking things apart, and usually putting them back together successfully (but not always, then or now!). But when it came to electronic stuff, I couldn't discern what was going on, how it worked, or how to fix it. That led me to ham radio, vocational tech school in high school, and an electronics institute later on. The culmination of that will occur when I go out and wire the trailer lighting plug on my Volvo later this morning... ;)
