I have not posted in a long time, as I sold my GMC.

I know that the GM powertrain was used in other motorhomes of the '70s era and some of the guys who have them are here.

I am sure that if you know who they are you would pass this information along to them directly as wrecked Revcon's are not commonly available.

I found a wrecked Revcon which is essentially useless, except for an occasional part, but the power train of engine, transmission, wheels etc looks completely intact and most likely fully functional. Only has 46,000 miles on it. I could see the top of the 455 engine which had the air cleaner on it. It has been sitting in a wrecking yard in NM for quite a while, but I bet the engine etc. is still very good.

The yard that it is in is being cleaned up and most things sold. The owner says the Revcon is available too, and would be happy to sell it. I think it was rolled over.

Contact the yard directly:

Larry, at Seale Sales and Towing, 485 E. Abrahames, Morarity NM 87035

505 832 1257 or 505 252 0171 (Morarty is about 50 miles east of Albuquerque)

He seemed like a real nice guy, and I think someone you could work with if you want a good Revcon (or even a GMC) powertrain.

Please pass this information on to any Revcon owners you know of here, I don't remember who they are now.
