Do you know what this is? If you don't, you should. It could save your life!
http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/misc/p46840-rear-window-placard.html
It's the "placard" (sign, if you will) above the rear window that tells you how to get out of that window in an emergency.
Maybe your coach has lost it, or it's covered with your blinds, or it's all wrinkled or ripped. Maybe you painted over it.
Well, have we got a deal for you! We have a quantity of new signs that we just had made, and we're giving them away for FREE!
They have a high tack adhesive backing, and are as close to the original as they can be.
It's our little way to say "Thank You" for all your support you have given us regarding the GMC Registry, either financially or with your kind words.
The ONLY WAY for you to get one of these signs is to send us your name and mailing address to:
gmcescape at gmail.com
and we'll send you one - it's that simple.
Merry Christmas to you all,
John & Pat Shotwell

Get an angled pic tool and fish a small amount of the seal center piping out of the groove running all around the window gasket in the middle away from where the two ends of this rubber rope meet. When you have pulled enough of it out get a key chain loop and put it around the rope. Push the rope back in place until the ring keeps it from going in any more. Now you have your emergency rip cord grab ring again.

I attached a shoe lace to the ring since I have a cabinet over the upper
part of the rear window. One should also make sure the window is inserted
backwards which is really correct . The ring and 'filler strip' should be
on Inside of the coach, not the outside.
How do I know so much about a rear window glass ?? I was introduced to
its workings just after a tiny rock from my "Whipper Snipper" ventilated
the rear half on my Kingsley ..<g>
