I finally found a term for what many of us do when working on our coaches. I have told people I am "restoring" mine but that is not accurate given it will not be going to OEM configuration. I found the term "restofication" while sniffing parts on the web. It was defined on the listed website as:

"Some of us use the term “restofication” to describe a restoration with modifications and up-grades."

I prefer the term Restomod, but it's the same idea.

Actually, with a lot of older cars, updated systems to modern ones really make them more enjoyable for all concerned. However, if anyone is looking for originality (ie most auctions of classic cars), the money spent is rarely recouped.
