So I had planned to move my 77 PB from Cinnabar where its been parked for two months while I have been moving to Bay City. I had planned to move it yesterday but the weather was bad ... Heavy coat of snow over a light freezing rain ... So I backed off, with the hope of doing it this this morning.
This morning, the roads were clear so I called my ride and we goit there in record time. The PB fired up in 5 seconds and I let it idle for a few moments while I ran the house furnace to get rid of the cold soak ...
And then we were off ... running just fine until I got near Bay City ... and all of a sudden we were sort of sideways, got it straightened out and then a few moments later ...sideways again .... whoops ...!!
Ok, slowed down and noticed the road had picked up a light glaze and the wind had picked up. By the time we got to the storage shed, the wind was howling, and I was glad we were done ...
But everything worked out fine, with the exception of little heat at the feet ... ( the agony of de feet??)) ... and it will sleep for a few weeks before we head for Panama City, FL for xmas ...
But it was nice to have the GMC rolling again ...
Can't wait for our next adventure
