I have a good metalshaping buddy that has a louver press. I asked him to make up some aluminum louvers. The first set is going into the inner front wheel liners. The album is here:

This is the panel and where I'm going to put it.

The hole was cut a bit smaller with a sabersaw.

Drilled some 1/8" holes and pop riveted it in place.

Here is the left side installed.

Don't know how much this will help but I can't see it hurting. I'll give a report after my next drive. My buddy will make this if others want some.

I also asked him to make a smaller set with the idea of replacing the stainless louvers on the outside.

Nothing wrong with the stainless ones I'm just being different because I can... Very Happy I'm not sure they will fit. I may need to use a different size because of some of the internal structure. I'll look at it before I put the other fender liner in tomorrow.

Kerry,

You may have come up with a product that a lot of GMCers would like to buy!

Talk to your buddy and see if he wants to go into production and how much he'd want for a pair.

Regards,
Rob M.
