On December 5th, the Black List will be 14 years old. As it got too
large to be sent by email, Billy stepped forward with his site as a
permanent home for the list. Just another reason to support Billy and
his site.
Even the FMCA is now involved in their own list but not even close to
the list we have and certainly the quality of owner involvement that
the GMC List has.
So, there are two things for you to do today, first a donation to the
GMC site http://gmcmhphotos.com/photos/donate.html and then go to http://bdub.net/Black_List/
and check your listing for corrections or sign up to assist your
fellow GMC'ers.
For those rare individuals of the GMC crowd who may not know what the
Black List is:
The list was a suggestion by GMCnetter Tom Winslow on December 5,
1998, regarding an assistance list for Triumph owners. He also holds
the distinction of being the first member of the list. As a non GMC
owner (AM NOW), I felt keeping the list was a sort of payback for the
information and friendships I got from the GMC Net. As for the name,
the list was and is The GMC Motorhome Assist List. The Black List came
from some of the member's twisted minds and it stuck. {:>) It started
by being posted as an email to the GMC Net until it got too large to
handle by email.
And a special thanks to Patrick Flowers who started this whole thing
with the GMC net.
