I found this in the latest issue of FMCA's Family Motor Coaching. I wondered when someone was going to come out with one of these. Tankless and fits into existing water heater opening. A little pricey, but.....

After reading about them, I still haven't found an answer to the question
that plagues all GMC owners. How much water comes out of the tap or shower
head before the hot water shows up?
I have one of those HW circ pumps installed (home) at the outlet of our HW
heater. Approx one cup of water is wasted before the hot shows up.
Anyone got one of these demand units installed? How about doing a dynamic
test and answering the above question?

Steve,
Probably not all that much. If you consider the volume of the water line from the tank to the sink fixture and then the hose to the shower head, then probably not much more than a cup or two. The fine stream of the shower head makes it seam like much more as it take time to push the water volume thru the nozzles.

Several GMCers have installed the Aquah 6L (6 liter)
on demand water heater at the back of the reefer
compartment. I would hardly call them expensive!

I find three listed on eBay at the current time;
two at $169.50 and one at $149.50, all with FREE
shipping.

I haven't installed mine yet. Those who have bought
and installed them have reported favorably.
