While I understand the pain of seeing old friends leaving, Gene, the worst thing that can happen regarding the future of GMC motorhomes is if the CO lets them rot in their backyard.

When I started researching motorhomes, I was immediately struck by the similarities to a software or website project and I ended up using my experience with choosing software -particularly open source-- to make the major decisions. The 2 deciding factors with GMC: [1] Community (GMCnet & the Blacklist) and [2] Vendors (parts availability).

Sorry, Gene. :) It's a computer joke.
That's a reference to how to install certain software on computers
running a certain operating system. If there's a particular program
you want to install, you might type out a command (apt get whatever)
and the program is fetched and installed. Open source software is
generally free to get and use (like how we treat information about our
GMCs). So to compare our GMCs to an open source software environment,
it sure would be nice if installing things in our GMCs was as easy as
it were with a computer! :)
(although, other than that one bolt, the 4-bag system I helped Tom
Phipps install was pretty straightforward).

If I'm reading his code correctly, Gene, he wants quadrabags, alcoa 16s, and a wireless air controller but he needs to search the sofa cushions to come up with enough spare change to support our vendors.

You guessed it, "sudo" works wonders. Better than "nodoe".
At least he didn't get an ID 10-T error.
