Bought a 78 Birchaven from "Jim" near Casa Grande. He claimed to have sold over 30 GMC's. I thought I got a good deal until the motor blew about 100 miles from Jim. He refused to
offer any compensation.

I thought I was getting a 403 but it turned out to be a junkyard 455 with high compression pistons and junkyard painting on flexplate/flywheel that someone threw in it to make it run. Cost me another $1250 to have it towed to Orange, Ca and over $5k to rebuild motor plus r & r. Buyer Beware have it checked out by someone who knows.

Oh yea, someone took the onan out of my coach too.

Michael
