Yes, kinda cool, a very different approach, great gas mileage with the BMW
diesel, parks in a normal garage, pop up roof for headroom.
Only two beds though.

When I was down at Alex Sirum's place a couple months back I saw this odd non-GMC thing and Jeff told me it was a GMC like coach made by ??? it was a pusher configuration with a 440 MOPAR.

The one I'm thinking about is much more modern than the FMC.
Probably about year 2000.

I contacted Creative Mobile Interiors before I started the refurbishment of my GMC and asked about pricing. They said, of course, well it depends on what you want to do. I then asked what could they do for $20 - $30K. They said that wouldn't consider a project at that level, but they did say that for a couple of hundred dollars they would spend an afternoon with me discussing ideas, suppliers, and techniques. I thought that was a generous offer and, in retrospect, I should have taken them up on their offer. My guess now is that I would have both saved both time and money.
They do beautiful work.

There are many years of tradition in the field of coach building in Ohio. As
a result, lots of good work comes from there. In the real old days there
must have been a dozen coach/professional car upfitters in Ohio.

Bill,
There are many coach designers and builders in the midwest. My
ANNIE was redone in Angola, IN. about 10-11 years ago by a shop that is out of business now, but I was able to track down the gentleman who was the build foreman on her and was also able to talk to some others who worked on her. Very interesting phone calls and different ideas.
