Checked the KOA today & NOTHING available for Sept 21 weekend. Are they all taken or just reserved for the GMC'ers. Need a little insight to the process as this would be our 1st rally. We can't do the whole week but would like to do Sat&Sun. Thanks

I'm sure that they have the spots reserved for the Rallye attendees. If it's anything like Amana was this year, it should be great fun.

Mel,
If you want to attend the rally you will have to go thru GMCMI for
reservations. They will not be doing any reservation until late July
2013 when the rally forms are issued. GMCMI will work with you for
shorten rally stays such as just the weekend you want to attend. You
may want to wait to see what is being presented on those days.

Hi Mel

I would suggest that you contact the GMC Motorhomes International Convention Manager who is Kim Weeks. kimweeksgmc@gmail.com.

You can also get information on the GMCMI web site: www.gmcmi.com.

The Branson convention will likely be a very well attended one. If we run out of sites Kim has made tentative plans for overflow sites at a park across the street. I would advise people to get their reservations in as early as you can. As John Wright has indicated, the forms for registration will be mailed to members with the July newsletter and will also be available on the website about the same time.

Looking forward to seeing you there.

Thanks for the info. I thought I may have missed the boat. IF KOA has only 170 spaces, they may (I hope) have overflow. More coaches & ideas for a beginner.

Hi again, Mel.

It is helpful if you put your location after your coach identity. That way if you have a question or problem someone near you might be able to help better.

<<< go thru GMCMI for reservations. They will not be doing any reservation until late July 2013 when the rally forms are issued. >>>

This discussion does give rise to a thought. I imagine some of the popular shows sellout. Maybe an early release of a general schedule for the convention that would indicate evenings or afternoons that might be available when a show or the lake cruise could be squeezed in. So tickets could be reserved early. Surely wouldn't want to conflict with the pine block races!!
