  I don't know if GM installed them in the MH chassis or the coach builder. I know all the P-30's had them from all coach builders.

I don't think the installation procedure is going to be a big issue. I would have the coil spring out of the vehicle and I don't think putting the airbag into it before the install would present any issues - with all the access you have to the rear suspension.

I think getting the right coil spring and the right (quality) airbag are the main concerns.

I guess I would start with the weight range of the vehicle. We know it's about 12,000 pounds. Then ask what the weight range of the rear "axle" is, with full and empty gas, water, etc. and then ask what length and load the coil spring should be.

If anyone has any ideas on how to calculate these factors, it would be useful to know.

WHY??? There are so many good replacement airbag assemblies that fit
our coaches correctly at reasonable prices!
