I couldn't agree more with Steve's suggestion. The ZEP product is great and wears well. You can get it at Home Despot or Lowsy's (Home Depot or Lowe's for those of you with no sense of humor). This this I'll add the following.


The source of the streaking scum (I'm assuming you're getting that) is a fungus growing where you don't easily see it. For instance, under the pod or around the base of the air conditioner, etc. It's even in the gutters on the sides of the coach. To really clean up the mess you'll need to use something to get rid of that mildew. It's particularly bad after sitting outside and leaves falling on the coach.


Once you put the wet look wax on the roof you'll find that it'll last about six or seven months. So, every six or seven months just put on two more thin coats of the wax. I've found that it's also good for giving traction if the roof is slightly damp.
