Good luck with it. Let everyone know if it works.

When we lived in Santa Fe the motorhome was parked in the middle of several Pinon and Juniper trees which provided lunch and dinner for mice and pack rats (wood rats).

The rats liked to build nests on top of the engine and on top of the Onan and chew the wires.
I found that if I put a small light bulb plugged into an extension cord they would not net there. They like dark places.

Then I found this:

http://www.victorpest.com/store/mouse-control/m753s

I plugged one into a cord on top of the engine and on top of the Onan and one inside the GMC and it really stopped the rats and mice.

Now that I have an indoor storage garage for the GMC in Colorado I no longer have mice problems.

Emery,

I have found mouse droppings in the storage facility where Double Trouble spends the winters, however, haven't found any inside
Double Trouble.

Being a firm believer in "ounce of prevention" I intend to ordered the Victorpest units and will place them where you did.

Please advise where you placed the unit inside your GMC?

I put it in the ceiling plug outside the bathroom. It seemed to do well there.

Emery,

Makes sense, that's close to the middle of the GMC and pointing down.

Unfortunately Avions don't have a plug there so I'll have to figger something else out.

I had also used it in the plug above the kitchen sink and didn't have a mouse problem using that place either.

Rob,

Our local Lowes has the Victor in a three pack for $19.97 snd a super size with 4 inch speakers for $29.97.
Perhaps with a three pack -- two in the coach and one in the storage unit to keep them away.

Victor 3-Pack Mini-Pest Chaser Item #: 126461 | Model #: M753

Dennis,

Damn, I just ordered 3 three packs from Victor on line. The super size for $29.97 is a great price; Victor wanted over $40 for it!

Rob M.

Not to dispute Emory's experience but have others had similar experience? Just curious.
