I am leaning towards cork,
It seems that for everyone who tells me I need a floating floor there is someone else who says a glue down. One cork company told me floating is water resistant , but glued down is water proof. Are there any opinions here related to either?
thanks bgk

We have cork at hole and love it. It's a floating floor and there are areas where our worthless cat peed, vomited up a hair ball, or whatever where the seams have swollen. Were I to do it again I'd seal the surface.
My Aunt has a glued down cork floor in her kitchen and it has held up very well.
