Hi all,

The vacuum line that runs from the engine to the vacuum tank on my
1973 Painted Desert (w/ 455) is cut.

The vacuum diagram in my 1973 maintenance manual shows a straight run,
but the 1978 parts book shows a tee in the line:

http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/questions/p46213-missing-tee-in-vacuum-line-or-not.html

The cut in my line is farther back than the position of the tee in the
parts book.

Did the 73 have this tee at all?

Thanks,

Correction - that's the 1978 assembly manual, not the parts book. The
question stands :)

Sean,

You do know that the HVAC systems of a 1973 and 1978 are very different - Don't You?

I have no that I might have ever paid any attention to anything 1978, but I can tell you that I have not seen that T in my 73.

No, I didn't know that. My only coach is a 73, no spare coaches laying
around, and I've only had mine for a few months, so I'm still learning

Ok, good to know, thanks!
