Did GMC include a set of monogrammed (GMC) dishes? I found 4 dinner plates and 3 soup bowels with the GMC logo etched on them. Collectors item maybe?

I doubt they were from GM T &C unless they were part of a retirement gift
for a company exec. Wally Edwards, retired GM VP and a PO told me that
occasionly someone would personalize something for a similar occasion.
I guess they might be very collectible. The Sunshine Statesmen club has has
wine glasses etched with club logo they will show from time to time.

Mel, I don't see your name listed in the Registry. Who did you buy four
coach from?

Hopefully here's a pic of the dishes. All I know they came with the coach. Bowls have 'Mexico' and a number on the bottom, plates have nothing. I'm in the process of trying to get mine in the registry. Bear with me. Thanks

David, I just joined so is there something else I need to do to get registered? I noticed the 'members' list is a little behind. I bought my GMC from Troy Duede (Doo-Dee) in Peoria, Il. I have no history on it. Any guidance is greatly appreciated. Thanks. Mel

Mel,

I should have explained that if you attach a picture to a message in the Forum people (like me) that use the email list will not see
it.

I went to the forum and there is a picture in the message but for some reason on my notebook it didn't appear all I have is a small
box with a red "X" in it.

If you send the picture to robmueller at iinet dot net dot au I will post it to the Photosite so everyone can see it. If you wish to
do so yourself here's how you sign up on the Photosite:

To upload pictures on the GMC Photo Site you will have to register first.

When you fill in your Username keep in mind that if you choose something unique and not your name people will have difficulty
finding photos you upload.

When I first registered I used relleumt which is my name backwards, sort of. I got so frustrated trying to find pictures other
GMCer's had posted I decided to change it to Mueller R.

I do now worry about Interpol finding me so I am careful what photos I post! ;-)

Once you're registered you can click on the link below and follow J Harpers step by step procedure which will walk you through how
to upload photos:

Regards,
Rob M.

Not often I get a laugh from the forum. "Maale, Kiss my grits!". It's nice to be "quite mature in years" and to remember joyful things. Something special about GMC owners, a subset of people who don't know everything, but do know a thing or two. Some useful things, some things just for joy.

If anybody really wants dishes like that, I can make them pretty easily (presuming I can find the glass dishes).
