It's a special (of course) size for vacuum systems. You can get it at a
place that sells central vac systems. Maybe HD and Lowes, too, but I
don't know for sure.

I have an Eleganza so mine is different than yours.
Mine had a piece of hose from the vac to the switch plate.
The wires from the switch plate have female spade connectors on them
which connect to the male counterpart on the vac.
Hope I remembered right, I have a Dirt Devil, from Camping World, now.
Wow! what a difference.
Of course, it's 30 years newer.
