This is going to be an excellent rally
http://gmcws.org/blog/?p=965

*Oregon is a unique state, and SO-OR is even more different
- there are open-free - truck weight stations along almost every route to
the rally
- you can weigh your coach along the way (may also may have the GMCWS
weight stations there also)
- all McD's have free wifi, and $.60 coffee ;>)
- there are many free wifi sites I will try to detail

* there are Casino's along almost every route to the rally with:
- free , safe, parking
- good food
- entertainment
- free wifi

* there are cheap, free, dump stations
- at rest stops
- port - old towns
-

* as Gary Berry has said
- there are sand excursions - close
- there are members with vehicles
- there are only a couple of places in the nation where you can do this

* there will be technical topics
- electronic "handouts" will be available when a talk begins
- many "Members" will not be able to be there - but:
-- they will get something for their membership $$$
-- Papers will be published "live" and free
-- (and better later, for non-members)

* VENDORS are King
- get your web pages up to date
- there will not be a question
-- was so-n-so there?
-- did they have new products?
-- what did they say?
-- you will know live what is going on
-- like this (click here)

Gene,

I can give you lessons on how to write a promotional piece without taking a jab at the way others do things. I won't charge, either.

Sometimes, we here in Orygone have a way of speaking that is off putting to
others not fortunate enough share the fresh ocean air mixed with fresh
scent from tall conifers. It gives us direct access to clear thought. It
might just have the reverse effect on those that live in a part of the
country not so gifted. I myself have been accused, maybe not wrongfully, of
being somewhat abrupt, perhaps slightly rude, and lacking a sense of humor.
The last part is quite wrong. This whole tempest in a teacup about GMCWS vs
all youall east of the Rockies is quite funny. Even if it is incorrect.
Some people seem to get their knickers in a knot over the darndest stuff. I
find it a glorious waste of time.

Thank You Gene,

I, for one, understood and very much enjoy your method of getting the point
