GRRRR - Manny shipped me a transmission with an expected delivery date of Monday the 24th.

Here is the detail from the tracking site:

09/17 Freight picked up from shipper location
09/24 Projected Delivery Date of 9/24/2012
09/19 Trailer Closed - ready for dispatch
09/19 Trailer dispatched to terminal
09/19 Trailer enroute: MADERA, CA
09/20 Trailer enroute: GALLUP, NM
09/21 Trailer enroute: TUCUMCARI, NM
09/24 Trailer enroute: GREENVILLE, SC
09/25 Trailer arrived at terminal in Charlotte, NC
09/25 Trailer unloaded at terminal
09/26 Trailer dispatched to terminal
09/26 Trailer Closed - ready for dispatch

?????? Carolina is a long way from southeast Wisconsin. This is starting to sound sorta like Ken Burton's UPS service experiences.

Yep it was good to be there. Next time it will be with a coach. Last one I attended was Amana. I had only been on the net/forum for a short time then. This time was so much better being able to put faces with names I had been trading comments and reading posts from for the last several years. Glad to see you. Maybe next time you will be slowed down enough that we can trade some BS. Terri must have been moving faster than the speed of light as I only saw her once.

I'll be interested in hearing what Roadrunner Transportation has to say about the shipment when I call them Tomorrow.

I've bad some success at getting my shipping costs refunded when an item arrived after the promised date. It obviously depends on each companies policies which you should investigate prior to raising hell with them.

well it got here today. Unfortunately the neighbors print shop I had it delivered to had gotten paper shipments in for a big order. All that paper was now stacked in front of the ground level door I need to access with my tractor. Grrrr. Not really a problem, we'll get to it Sunday or Monday. I'm just anxious to see it.

At least you know where it is and that some bright person at a shipping company will not ship it back to California!

Yeah that is true. But if it had come in Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday I would have been able to get it out easily. Thursday the paper order came in. Now Bill and I gotta play "fork lift rodeo" to get it out.
