Is there a "Help" package on the wall of my local auto parts store that
will let me fix the hinge pins on my '73?

The bottom one is in fine shape. The top, not so much. It's becoming
kind of annoying.

I assume some early Suburban pin is identical?

Thanks in advance,
Kelvin

Jim K has both the pin and the bronze bushings at a very reasonable
price. If you do one do both! I think it was under $15 or less for
both hinges. By the time and money you spent to try and find them you
can have them in the mail.

You can also get them from Napa under part number 6755154 as per GMCMI
Parts index, but I think that it only includes 1 of the bushings and
not 2 that you need.

My local NAPA had two sets in stock. They both had two bushing and one
pin in the package - which is NOT what shows in the online pic.

Would have ordered from Jim K but for $16 I have them today. Thanks for
the number, JR.
Going home to bang on door pins right now.

Kelvin,
Be very careful on beating on the hinge pins. You can damage the
hinge or flatten the pin. There is a "Special tool" to remove the
hinge pin without causing and damage. I bought one and it works great.

Some have modified a "C" clamp that works well.
