Our coach came with the metal-backed rub strip attached on the passenger side but the driver's side strip was rolled up under one of the dinette seats. What's the best way to re-attach this? Is there a specific type of tape to use?

Thanks!!

You should note if it is an early 76 or a late 76? the late ones were one piece the early ones had metal backing and the rubber type material slips into the metal groove and is slid along the rail and held in position by a screw on each end.

Thanks! I guess it's a late 76; it's one piece with a metal backing, but doesn't appear to screw on. I'm not entirely sure it's original, however.

3M makes a double sided tape specifically for this application. Can be found at some Home Depots or any automotive paint supply store.

Four hands and long arms make the job easier.
