[GMCnet] Honoring the 30th for GMCMI [message #184333] |

Earlier this month I completed a paint design in honor of GMCMI's 30th
anniversary. You can view it by following the link below.
Some of you may like it while others will hate it. It is another attempt on
my part to provide a more modern look without getting totally offensive or
carried away by swishes, etc.
I also think that the red/white/blue isn't appropriate for everyday use so
I'd have it done in a monochromatic setting with a contrasting color for the
"belly wrap".

You may need to copy and past to get it into your browser. If you do that,
you may need to delete a space between "- d" unless you have a modern
browser and OS that'll delete that automatically.

The design looks even nicer with gray (and hint of blue) instead of blue and
a deeper red, like a wine color. But, I figured I'd stay with patriotic in
case some politician wanted to make it a design for his road coach in 2012.
This design also paints over the rub strip. I hope you also noticed the
black mask had a different shape toward the front and rear in addition to
the big ribbon cutting it in two.
Thanks for the compliments.
