It appears that in spite of my tendency to screw up, I have managed to upload photos of the Console Critters onto the GMC photo site under Michael/Gemrecs.

There will be 7 at Amana, Iowa beginning on 22 Sept. They are priced at $45 for the 2 "naked" ones and only $95 for the brown, grey and black covered ones. Both the cabinet maker and the upholsterer have said they will charge more next time, so this is a special deal. Only 5 have been covered in the above colored, padded vinyl that looks and feels like leather, no kidding.

Any not sold in Amana will be available thereafter plus shipping. The cabinet maker owes me three more, but covering them will cost $25-30 more(these cost $50 each to cover). Also, I have to wait until the cabinet maker has extra time to make them.

As in everything that Gemrecs has done, I have managed to keep the cost down, however, I have been forwarned that they will cost me more in the next order. This means you get a great product at a special price not likely to be repeated.

I had these made because I have found my old carpet covered box invaluable as a cup holder and place to pitch sun glasses, extra keys or what-have-you. I believe you will find this true also. A plus is that you can hide items inside the box and out of sight. I have seen bigger boxes and furniture used for this purpose but they make it difficult to get in and out of the seats and heavy to move when you need to open the engine cover. They also did not "fit" the interior. I believe these do and are light weight yet, easily moved from one place to another.
Sorry for the chatter, but I am excited about this product.

It would be great to have an ice maker in this that you just stick your cup under and get ice and water.

There is a lot to be designed for this area for driving and living a flat screen on the back for viewing, extra 12 volt plugs that would go direct to the

home battery or have a battery in it. Led lights for the floor. could move it outside, next to the director's chair. keep the registration and insurance

manuals, locked up in it with an alarm in it. put a safe in it attached to the motor top. speakers and radio. I like this space for many things. great

critter for a console. sun glasses, ice chest in it, 12 volt fridge, computer table, i pad holder out of sight. Put do not open pet snake.
