I took the coach out to Burning Man (sorry we didn't meet up, Gregory), starting on the evening of Aug 23. I drove 1000 to KC to pick up 2 fellow Burners. Another 1000 to SLC for another and then 570+ to Black Rock City.
The brakes seemed soft and the steering a bit loose but otherwise it ran great. Some thrilling moments on hilly curves versus transport trucks but it certainly kept you awake. Never did run the AC as it was ineffective anyway and the blower motor may be going. Did have a few pucker-worthy moments with the brakes in the hills around SLC (when I found it didn't have a horn either) but everything was closed so we carried on. My trailer broke a leaf spring but we borrowed another - the GMC towed both flawlessly.
It survived the desert OK but I think the starter solenoid on the Onan went, lost the fridge grill on the washboard out of the desert. The mere 75w of solar kept the house batteries charged.
All-in-all, the coach performed very well, and always pulled strong. I may have gotten near 10mpg on some tanks but I still need to go through all the gas receipts to reconcile.

Might try that... Now where to get a replacement...? And a new front bumper!
