For some reason I can not find this air line "t". Can someone help me? I don't know what to call it. I assume the big lines are 3/8. The small one, I have no clue. It goes to one of my air gauges so I can read the pressure in the bags. It leaks bad around the brass fitting where it goes into the plastic.

Someone knows what I need to know when I call someone looking for one of these. Please enlighten me.
Thanks,
Dan

looks like the other line is 1/8". You should be able to piece something together in brass at Ace or HD. Buy a tee with two 3/8 compression and 1/8 or 1/4 NPT for the smaller tube, and a 1/8 or 1/4 FNPT to 1/8" compression to adapt it. Don't forget to tape the threads.
You may also be able to buy at a Parker supplier as was mentioned, or order from Ryan Herco. you'd be ordering a 3/8 x 3/8 x 1/8 "one-touch" tee.

Dan, on second look, the tubes you say are 3/8 look more like 1/4 in the photo, but I cannot be sure. It should be printed on the tube, or take the fitting to the store and match.

Just go to a truck service place or one that services semi trailers they should have them in stock
WD0AFQ wrote on Mon, 03 September 2012 19:23 | Ok, thanks. Cant air up the bags, from compressor, til I get this figured out. The tubes, big ones, are same size as on the bags. Everyone I took it to, here in town, looked at me like I was nuts or something. I emailed Jim K a picture to see if he has anything like this. If no luck I will throw it in the car and hit some shops that work on monster trucks. I could not find it on the Parker website.

Dan, since it is 1/4 to 1/8, home depot or Ace will have the parts you need in Brass. Just take it with you and they can help you pick out what you need.

Robert Mueller wrote on Mon, 03 September 2012 21:12 | Dan,
I believe that is a Push to Connect "T" fitting. Since it is in your airbag system I'd say the larger black tubes are 1/4" and the
smaller appears to be 1/8".
To remove the 1/4" tubes you push the yellow collar inwards as far as it will go then gently pull the black tube out.
The 1/8" tube appears to be a compression fitting. The end that screws into the "T" is probably 1/8" pipe.
Take it apart and confirm what I've noted above. Once you do that we can find you the right fitting!

Rob M.

Dan,
Everything Rob wrote is correct, but he neglected to say that there may be two fittings screwed together. (That should not be done that way, but I have had to repair more than a few.)
The reason you can't find a replacement part is that it does not exist.
What you need is a 1/4 tube T with a 1/8 tube branch. I have never seen one. So what to ask for is a 1/4 tube by 1/8 mpt branch T. This would be a 1/4 tube T with the side being a 1/8 pipe thread. There is almost no chance you will find that with a female thread, so get the male thread and a coupling.
Plastic air line fittings are wonderful, easy to use, inexpensive, and unreliable in the long term. Buy all brass and put it together with a little bit of teflon loaded thread sealant. Buy DOT fittings if you can find them. The T will be expensive (~12$us). If you cannot find DOT, be sure to get the nipple that sticks into the plastic tubing or you will be back at there in a year or so.

It looks to me that you have 1/4"tubing connections with an 1/8" female
pipe thread. There is a 1/8" reducer fitting to 1/8" tubing threaded into
the female pipe threads.
Would it be possible to (probably the easiest to do) change out the 1/8"
tubing to all 1/4" tubing?
