Not yet. I'm still trying to digest everything after reading both
manuals and Rob's email. :) It sounds like the thing to do is take
some stuff off and clean it and do any necessary upgrades and repairs
now while it's outside of the coach and everythig is easy to get to.
Fortunately, Mom never lost power and the engine shop fixed the
ethanol damage to the other generator in time for the hurricane which
was actually pretty mild around here. Never even lost power. :)

Robin,

Do you mean the Pontiac Trans Am Territory GMC?

If so, an artists rendering & the actual coach are shown as images #301, 302 & 303 on the GMC history CD. If you don't have that I can post it on the photo site.

I seem to recall something about there being talk at GM in the
beginning of making the motorhome into part of the Pontiac line
instead of under GMC. There was a picture of either a rebodied GMC, or
an artist's rendition of what such a thing would look like. Love me
some split grills. :)

Mike,
Thanks for finding the photos, those are the ones I was thinking of.

Frank Jenkins makes a grill pretty close to a Pontiac version.

Robin,

It was not Pontiac, it was Chevy. The internal agreement was Chevy would have truck business under 10,500 GVW and GMC T&C would have the over 10,500 GVW piece.

Robin,

You can take a peak at my take-off of the Trans-Am TZE. I call the
illustration Eagle Aerie. The eagle on the side is different so as not to
infringe on copyright. The grill I made up to appear more Pontiac-like.

Something along those lines, yes. :) I wonder how hard it would be to
get some sort of split grille put in there?

Your illustrations are amazing. :)

Get some billet grill material and put behind the four hole shroud and
you'd have something very much like Pontiac would have done. In my mind
you need something to help in protecting the radiator without blocking the
airflow much.
