Hi All,
Just purchased an aluminum water pump (FloKooler) for my 403 from Jim K. upon checking it I noticed the impeller is slightly higher then the mounting surface, (maybe .040), however I didn't measure it. The instructions say to check it for clearance as 2 gaskets may be needed.
Anyone had any experience with these??
Thanks in advance,

Hi Bob
I put one on my 455 only used 1 gasket but I did check to see if was rubbing before I put the gasket glue on just mount and torque the bolts with a dry gasket and spin the impeller you will hear or feel any interference I didn't have any but ymmv. I have 55000 miles on this engine now and no problems just change your anti freeze evert couple of years.
