After putting in my rebuilt transmission I discovered that I had a large leak. The gasket from the rebuild appears to be a cork composite gasket. I kept re-tourqing it. The bolts would move about 1/8 to 1/4 turn each time. The leak slowed but it would not seal on the rear end of the pan. It is a Regusa pan so it has a flat surface.

I used to use a NAPA rubberized gasket. I called around and found one in stock at NAPA. It is their part 14525. I know this one will stop the leak. I will put it in later today.

This gasket is only $3.33 at one NAPA and $3.85 at the place that has it in stock.
