They built them in the old Rockwell plant in Marysville. I was in the
plant several times and as they were winding down, I considered buying one
instead of a GMC. If I remember right, they had some new ones still
sitting inside and were asking around $80k for them without any interior.
They were quite small interiors compared to the GMC as the rear engine
compartment took a substantial amount of floor space... and the front
suspension required a raised floor like the GMC. For a while, there were
several around here that kept popping up for sale with different owners but
all seem to have disappeared.
