So a box of aseptic packaged water showed up today. We now have water in capri sun style pouches. SHE also suggested we buy a gas fridge, of which a 641-3 has now arrived in my warehouse. Perhaps I can persuade her that a paint job has some sort of protective attributes during a holocaust.

At least if the world goes to shit and we need to bug out, if the highways are jammed, we can pull over and take a nap in the coach.

I like how you think. Tell her that all of that paint will add a lot of crash protection!

Amazon... Mainstay Emergency Drinking Water Drinking 60 Pack. Shipping was only six bucks.

Perhaps we should have a picnic and have the ladies eat only freeze dried food and packaged water.

You and I will be grilln and chillin with cold beer. Shocked

Sounds like a plan Chris...except I don't drink beer...Monster maybe.

I've tried some of that freeze dried food. It's not that bad...really.

So where can we get freeze dried water? That would sure cut down on the volume for storage. Then it would fit better in the GMC's storage areas.

We keep a supply of essentials in the MH for people and dogs. It sure paid
off when our neighborhood was evacuated twice last year during the big
fires.

I have spent 2 hurricanes inside the motorhome. When the neighborhood went dark, I just fired up Mr. Onan, ran extension house to frig in house, and sat back in my air conditioned coach, with TV and cold adult beverages. Wife's job precluded running from the storm.
This is my idea of a grab-and-run package. Of course, you should have a full tank of gas to help things along. Don't forget a battery powered radio (with weather channels) in your go bag.
I do have my fully equipped Ham Station to keep me informed.

Yeah Rob. My dad was a strict teetotaler, and drummed the evils of alcohol into me from the time I was a little kid. Consequently, when I was old enough to rebel against such foolishness, I didn't enjoy it and never could stand the taste. I understand it is an acquired taste and I just never saw the point in acquiring it. Rolling Eyes
