I thought that fitting was for the Onan on my daughter's 1973 23' coach
(#241 in the production sequence). So when I dropped the tanks to replace
all the fuel lines, I plumbed the Onan fuel line to this fitting. Then I
started adding 5 gallons of gas at a time and trying to start the Onan
after each pour. The Onan finally started after I poured in the 40th
gallon. So, I plugged that fitting and went back to how I found the Onan
was plumbed, back to a "T" in the fuel line just after the selector valve.
I learned the hard way...............

tank. If I understand it, it was for some type of return from the fuel
separator in the driver's side rear wheel well. They changed the separator
in 1973, but left the fitting. Most likely until they used up all of those
tanks. Right now it is just a place for leaks to form.

Jerry,

Is the daughters coach a GM (Gemmini) fitout?

I thought all the GM coaches had the APU fuel pickup in the rear tank. This may be something new to learn....

When I had my tanks down, I really wanted to come up with a hard closure for that stupid fitting, but it is at least barrier hose now.
