What would be the group's consensus should I have to replace the front roof AC unit on my coach? It appears Carrier discontinued RV AC units last year. Does that limit my choices to only Dometic or Coleman units? Pros / Cons of one manufacturer over the other?
Low profile units seem to be preferred and since it would be located in the front I assume a 15,000 BTU unit would be better than a 13,500 BTU unit. Any thoughts / comments on installing a heat pump rather than an AC unit with heat strips would be appreciated.
My coach also has a rear roof mounted 13.5K BTU AC unit with heat strips and a 6K Onan generator that runs well.

Low profile is preferred due to air drag.
I find that the 15000 unit does not really do as much as they publish.
We have installed many and find that the 13000 is just as high in capacity.
I would like to give you a quote on one as we handle them direct from
Dometic and have drop shipped all over the USA.

I just had Frady put one in my coach, I'm pleased with it.  And it has had a hell of a workout since install - to San Antonio and then to Salem Virginia, both with the dash A/c non-functional.  Haven't needed to try the heat function yet.
