Hi everybody
I have had various rv's for the last 50 plus years and for many years have thought how neat it would be to own a gmc motorhome. So this April I knowningly dug myself a big hole and bought a 1977 Royale from a seller in Arizona. It is a nice coach with a lot of restoration done over the years.
I was told by another gmc owner that there is a lady by the name of Margeret? that makes windshield curtains. I would appreciate hearing from anyone that might have her phone number.I live in Carson City,Nevada.Looking foward to contribute to this forum.

Sir: welcome.. 77 Royale is a nice coach.. Newest dash ac, could be a 455 or a 403. Here is what they looked like new.

Here is the parts & maintenance manuals. I would advise to opan each and copy to disc. Some of the earlier manuals have stuff that the newer ones don`t. I keep a copy at home & in the coach.

Here is where you can download the latest "Black List"

Here you go: http://www.bdub.net/guske/index.html

We have both an outer (cover) and an inner windshield wrap (curtains) that we got from the Guskies. Very nice stuff and very reasonably priced.

Neal,

A few short things.
It is well worth your while to joint GMCMI if only to get the part interchange book.

If you include the coach descriptors and some geography in your sig, then others will know more about any issues you bring up.

Lastly, if you have been reading here long at all, you know that I like to welcome new owners in a manner that is appropriate for these coaches and the way they fit into out lives. Like a boat is to a waterman. So,

May the Good Lord bless this coach and all those that set forth withing her.

Welcome Neal

Matt

Welcome, Neal...

It sounds like you got yours right before I started my search (I wondered if it was this one - http://www.bethunesales.com/listings/wagner.html - but it's listed as a 1978 Royale, not a 1977... but I JUST missed it, and ended up buying a '78 Royale six hours away instead of six miles away... sigh). Enjoy that coach - it's hard to imagine a nicer way to see the country than through those huge, stylishly sloped windshields!

Hi Neal, welcome to the nuts. The info I have is for Guske Sales, aka Margaret Guske, 810-987-5788. I understand that they travel to rallies, so maybe hard to catch sometimes.

I just ordered a front window cover for the palm beach from Margaret Guske. She would not take any money till i get it and try it out.

Now that is real GMC worthyness and integrity i have never seen except for Manny and Nick and JimB and JimK.

To send something out and trust you to pay for it afterwards is real gmc hospitality. When i get it i am going to TJ.

Mick anaheim ca. 92802, 77 palm beach. I don't think they will find me down there in jail.

you can see out side in the day time and no one can see in. But at night when wanking time comes they can see in but

you can't see out, perfect for me. I can see the ralley lined up outside watching. call me an exhabitionist or something like that

but i live in hollywood. just right for burning man next year. bad joke sorry.

She was so pleasing to talk with and she stated it will take a week or so to make it up from scratch - i am getting a green screen

to match the 77 palm beach colors. What a great service, it is $125 dollars plus shipping front cover for windshield. SHe has draps for

the inside front for 180$ includes tracks and behind the front seats to the floor within 2 inches for 160 dollars.

the phone number has not changes since a year ago below. http://www.bdub.net/guske/index.html
