G'day,
I got lucky and John Sharpe (currently VERY busy re-modeling his kitchen) was able to come over to Double Trouble and help me figger
out what was wrong with the Iota Auto Transfer Switch. Turns out NOTHING!
In five minutes he checked out the Iota itself and found that one of the contacts was not receiving power from the ONAN. We then
took the cover off the electrical box on the top of the Onan cover and John found one of the wires to the ONAN had corroded apart
and was hanging loose.
Here's what I did:
bought some screw down wire splices
cut them in half and used one half on each pair
Coated the wire with corrosion preventing goop
Filled the splices with corrosion preventing goop
Shoved the wires in and tightened down the screw
Covered the splices with two layers of shrink tubing.
