Hi,
I recently used this very sticky tar-like sealer for a small crack in my waste tank. I applied it both inside and outside the tank and worked fantastically well:

I don't remember how I learned about it. If it was from these postings, then thank you to whoever made the post. In any event, if you have a small leak in your waste tank, this sealer is at least worth trying =)

I work on telephone lines/cable tv lines. we use the same stuff to seal up some cables. It works well. not sure about a black tank.
if anybody wants to try. I might be able to get some cheap/cost of shipping to someone.
