Having just done my annual vacation the trip consisted of 3900 miles averaging 9.2 mpg for the entire trip no toad but used the coach to travel around a couple of cities. Montreal to Elkhart for new windshields both, stayed in Elkhart for 4 days then to Nashville to play tourist for another 4 days was not to bad driving around with coach but parking required some planning, then down to Americus to visit KenH thanks for the peaches and blueberries. Then on down to Orlando spent another 4 days at Moss Park stopped in to see JimB thanks for the pizza, managed to rent a car thru Priceline for $10/ day then back to Montreal. The new Honda Gen worked like a top thanks DonA and JimW in Dallas helping to get it to me in time for my Vacation it was at least 90F every day some in the triple digits it was a necessity to have the ac running when we stopped for shopping or camp WalMart.
The only problem is when the safety neutral switch acted up after filling the tank at a station in Georgia, but I may have kicked it so just a little bit of fiddling with the connector and all was good.
Like everyone says get out and drive your coach, in my 3900 miles the only other GMC I saw was the Clasco unit that was being towed into JimB's and that was just oustide Jacksonville on I 95 southbound. In the 75000 miles I have put on my coach in 9 years I have only come across 3 other GMC's in my travels unless I intentionally went to visit someone, so I suspect that GMC's are nocturnal by nature and don't come out during the day.
