Sir: I would think 40 lb difference is not normal. I would suggest to look at both the front adjusting bolts and see if there is a noticable difference in the amount of threads left showing. Say you raise the rf it pushes the lr down and in turn the air valve pushes it back up and pushes the rf down, see where I`m going. You can be at correct ride height and not be balanced and it will effect driving quality. Best way is to put the front wheels on scales with the rear blocked at ride height + height of scales and dump air. Adjust the front till you get the weight balanced close as possible, book says 250 lb max difference. Alex says if you don`t have scales jack the coach fron rear center, dump bags and adjust front height.

Art,
In Double Trouble (OEM bags) I see a variance of 10-15 lbs. That makes sense as one side could be heavier than the other. Forty psi
seems to be too much.
I assume you have those little gauges in the manifolds. Unless they are Ashcroft gauges (Made in the USA) like the ones pictured
below in Dave Lenzi's manifolds I wouldn't trust them.

Either way swap the gauges and see what the readings are. That will show whether you have an indication problem or not.

Rob M.
