Just as sad today as it was when we discussed this one a month or so ago... Just for the record, from the VIN, it is NOT a transmode so it can NOT be a Royale.
From the stripes I would guess a 1978 Eleganza II. Not that it matters much now.

the person that has the window in his motor cover has a great idea. I am going to get a small port hole from used boat parts
that i can see from the drivers seat, glance down to the right and see all the belts and look for smoke etc.
maybe about 6 inches to 8 inch across with batten screws so you can unscrew and flop the little port hole
open and blast it with a fire impervious repellant through the little port hole, or at least to stop and try and have a water
hose from the h2o tank that you can stick in there and blast it with water. A water sprinkler under the lid is another
option, to have from the water tank using the water pump on the gmc. As little as a plastic bag can do bad things some time.
viewing the engine for rodents nest etc. is a great option. video camera on the area to rear view camera also to the onan area.
view tires, a bit over board but doable now a days for just extra camera cost. Fire = big problem.

Sir: those are Weld wheels, there is a suttle difference in the 16.5 and 16 Weld wheels and those look like 16.5. I have a set of each.

We did save an engine and possible fire once with the glass engine cover. Saved a complete wire harness failure another time. I do have an automatic fire extinguisher in the engine compartment also, not to mention one on the Onan and the refer compartment. If you ever have a fire in your coach, like we did, you will kinda get paranoid. I don't worry about fire now but I do keep my eyes on things.
